District 35 New York is governed by Little League International and is comprised of the following chartered Little Leagues: Bayport-Blue Point, Brentwood, Central Islip, Connetquot, Hauppauge, Islip, Sayville, St. James-Smithtown, and Selden-Centereach-Three Village.

District 35 is part of Section 4E in New York State, the Metropolitan Region in the Little League Baseball World Series, and the Mid-Atlantic Region in the Little League Softball World Series.

District 35 is currently the host District for the New York State Little League Softball Tournament (host league: St. James-Smithtown).
